How do I clean my plants?
All plants should be dusted with a feather duster on a weekly basis. Foliage may be cleaned periodically with mild soap and cool water (less than 75 Fahrenheit). Large trees can be cleaned with an air compressor (45 psi maximum),or with a hand held garden sprayer and cool water. If you have any questions, please call.
What if I want something that I don’t see in your catalog?
Call us. Our catalog is representative of our product line. All of our plants are custom made, so unusual sizes, shapes, or even plants are not a problem. Just let us know what you need and we will try our best to provide it for you. If you have a photo, we will do our best to duplicate it.
Will Planteriors install my plants?
Certainly. We will travel to your job site to install plants and trees, or we will supervise the installation. We charge actual travel expenses, plus a fee for hours spent on your site. Since each project is unique, please call for more information.
Can I install my plants?
Of course! All trees and plants are shipped arranged, except as noted. Some minor adjustments of foliage may be necessary. We include installation instructions with every order.
Do your products carry a warranty?
Yes. We extend a warranty to the original purchaser for one year from the shipment date. Please read our complete warranty found on the lower portion of this page.
Are your products fireproof?
We can fireproof most of our product line. There is an extra charge for this service. Please call for a quote.
Can I order by phone?
We will be happy to take your order by mail, phone, fax, or Email.
Do you have ground cover or under-foliage available?
Yes. All table and hanging plants are manufactured with moss for ground cover. Spanish moss is provided at no charge when you order containers for your floor plants. We can place Under-foliage of Ivy, Pothos, or Philodendron in the base of any tree container. All of our plants are secured in plaster nursery containers for stability.
How long until I receive my order?
Your plants and trees are custom made for your order. Shipping is normally 45-60 days from the receipt of your order. Occasionally, things such as strikes, shortages of material, import delays, and weather may cause a delay. We will do our best to keep you up-to-date on the progress of your order, and you will be notified immediately if there is an unexpected delay.
All trees and plants manufactured by Planteriors are warranted to the original purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of shipping, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials at the time of shipment. We will replace, or repair, at our discretion, any materials found to be defective in accordance with these terms. This warranty does not cover freight damage, or damage from alteration, accident or abuse. Planteriors liability hereunder (or otherwise) shall be only for the repair or replacement of the merchandise. Except for the above, Planteriors disclaims all other warranties whether expressed or implied and specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, and specifically disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall we be liable in warranty, contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, for any damages, whether incidental or consequential, which are alleged to be caused by one or more of our products, beyond the cost to the customer of the product or products. The customer's sole and exclusive remedy against Planteriors for breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, liability, or otherwise, shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product at our option (excluding removal and installation charges which are the sole responsibility of the customer) or, if we choose, refund of the purchase price.
